Dear Diary,
I totally got busted rockin’ out in my car.
You know I can’t help it. You understand how excited I get after I drop both girls off at preschool. It’s my one day-per-week alone session. AND it was almost 65 degrees out. So you know I had the windows down.
Diary, I’m so embarrassed.
I stopped at a red light but was so into my song that I didn’t even notice the car next to me. Or the two guys in it.
And then they honked at me. Got my attention. They said something, but I couldn’t hear a thing over my music. And of course I wasn’t gonna look back at them after that.
They laughed at me, honked again and screeched off when the light turned green.
They laughed at me, Diary.
They laughed at me.
And then the next song came on in my car.
And I realized that I had been singing, “Put Down the Duckie.”
Diary, I don’t know if I can go on.
Luv,
Me
PS: You’d better not tell my mom I said that.

That is a totally catchy tune, I could see why you’d be rocking out to “put down the Duckie”
I have to say there is something about that video’s big fat man wearing the hindi dot with the clarinet that is a little odd. Creepy….creepy

Really? Even “Pass the Dutchie” would have been cooler.

If it makes you feel any better, this is totally something that would happen to me, and I don’t have kids.
I do have to say, though, that I love the amount of guest appearances in this video.

First, those guys were jerks.
Second, you need one good adult cd in your player. Mine’s cd number 3, which is cool, hard Tool, even though I’m not as angry as I used to be. But I assume it’s cooler than sesame street.
Third, that was an awesome video. I love watching the who’s who of entertainment on Sesame street
